The three rules of landscape design.

Rule 1. Repitition is the key

yep good design is all about repitition. You can always tell who the amature gardener is. Their garden is the one with every single plant known to man kind planted in it. its a jungle. Its a mess. It is visual vomit from the gods.

Choose a few plants that you like and repeat them through out your garden. Every thing will look in balance.

Rule 2.  Odd balls rule the world.

it really is true, odd balls really do rule the design world. What do I mean by this? Well when you are planting things they tend to look better when you plant them in odd numbers. This is true to just about any design industry.  Know this rule and use it often.

Rule 3.  Stucture and fill.

know the difference between structural plants and filler plants. Once you know this then garden design is easy. Always plant your structural plants fist. This will give you an overall layout for your garden. Once you have done this then it it is time to plant your fillers. Make sure they softly complement your structural plants as opposed to fighting with them for your attention.

These tips were brought to you by the team from Auckland landscapers. They offer Cheap plants Auckland wide as well as garden maintenance in Auckland.
